Healthcare & Community Activists- This country is in the middle of an obesity epidemic. Children today have a shorter life expectancy than their parents for the first time in one hundred years because of the epidemic of obesity, according to Dr. William Klish, Professor of Pediatrics and Head of Pediatric Gastroenterology at Baylor College of Medicine. Healthcare and Community activists have the power to rally the troops in their communities and make a real impact on the health of our nation - for this generation and the next.
