Grant Information

PE4life’s mission is to develop a country of active and healthy children and youth by increasing access to quality physical education solutions by engaging them in a fun and interactive way. With alarming increases in the rate of childhood and adolescent obesity, programs that promote the health of students through nutrition, nutrition education and physical activity, as well as tobacco use prevention and other lifestyle issues, are more important now than ever. In addition, staff wellness programs help reinforce student wellness programs since staff serve as strong role models. Implementing and sustaining these programs, however, require funds that may not be readily available in your school’s budget.

While it may not be written into your job description to raise funds, you know as well as anyone that finding support - financially or other wise - is key to developing successful projects.

Within the Grant Information section, you will find information on the Carol M. White PEP Grant and links to Additional Funding Opportunities.

PE4life’s annual Resource Conference is a great resource for seeking funding. You can also purchase the PE4life Seeking Donor Support for Your School Wellness Program booklet in our Pro Shop. Seeking support is an art as much as it is a science, but it doesn’t have to be a daunting task. This handbook refines the process, providing eight easy-to-follow steps.

Include PE4life’s Services into your Grant! Visit the Program Support Services page for more information on the services we provide.
